Before joining Climate for Health, I worked for 14 years in safety-net health care programs focusing on addressing upstream social determinants of health. Before then, I worked as a community organizer in New Orleans, helping families returning from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina to advocate for local needs. I am committed to supporting systemic change to achieve dignity and equity. Environmental injustice has always played a huge role in my work, whether I was working to address mold contamination or poor diabetes outcomes.
